Glencoe Mountain is the oldest ski area in Scotland known for its variety of terrain that offers an incredible range for beginners as well for experts who prefer the longest and steepest runs. The runs are mainly allotted for intermediate and advanced skiers. The plateau area has some beginner runs.
The vertical here is 803 metres and the summit is 1108 metres. There are 7 lifts operating in this ski resort which include 2 Access chairlifts, 1 poma lift, 1 T-bar and 3 surface tows.
The snow level is about 1000 ft offering fantastic skiing with well groomed upper runs which have an impressive coat of deep malleable snow on a compact base.
Glencoe ski resort is set over 40 km of pristine wilderness and breathtaking landscapes. There are a total of 19 runs rated Beginners – 21%, Intermediate – 34%, Advanced – 34%, Expert – 11%.
Activities here include Skiing, Snowboarding, Sledging, Hill Walking and Mountain Biking. Additionally, the resort has Terrain Park and a Half Pipe.
