Hohe-Wand-Wiese is located in lower Austria and is a small yet entertaining winter facility that caters to beginning and intermediate skiers and snow boarders. It is located at 370m above sea level. It is perfect for those who do want to enjoy winter sports but do not want to travel all the way to the Alps.

Lodging locations are available surrounding Hohe-Wand-Wiese, but are limited to ski huts and holiday rentals.
Tracks/Slopes
The skiing area at Hohe-Wand-Wiese consists of a .4 kilometer run. There is one drag lift that brings everyone to the top. There floodlights light up the Austrian sky giving skiers and boarders the opportunity to enjoy Hohe-Wand-Wiese well into the evening hours. Artificial snow machines are available to produce snow if need be.
Other Activities
Other activities include a toboggan run, a carving and a freestyle school, a child piste, and magic carpet ride.
