Located in Salen, one of the largest ski areas in Sweden, the ski resort of Hundfjallet has been a favourite amongst skiers for decades. With easy access to the surrounding ski slopes, parks and town, Hundfjallet is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday no matter what the group size or age ranges.
The Salen ski park has 110 ski lifts and 127 runs, spanning a large range of abilities. 36 of these lifts and 55 pistes are located in the Hundfjallet and Tandadalen areas, which are grouped together due to their close proximity.
Hundfjallet is the ideal area for family skiers and beginners, with around 30 green and blue runs, as well as 12 red runs and 14 black runs. With a ski season lasting from December till April you are guaranteed snowfall each year, with some slopes covered by snowmaking possibilities. Hundfjallet has a range of accommodation slope-side as well as restaurants and bars.
