Located in central Sweden, Idre Fjall is well known amongst ski enthusiasts for its reliable snow conditions, with a long ski season ranging from November till mid April. Idre features a number of accommodation choices ranging from self-catering lodges to luxury hotels, with everything in between to suit each budget.
There are also five restaurants on site where you can enjoy the local cuisine of Sweden. With a summit of 893m you can enjoy slopes with a vertical descent of 182m, a terrain park with a half pipe for snowboarding and 74km of cross-country skiing terrain.
There are around 42 pistes covering 29km of land at Idre, suitable for a wide range of ability levels with 16 of these devoted to beginners green runs, 10 blue runs, 5 red runs and 10 black runs. The slopes are accessed by 31 surface lifts and three chair lifts, which will take you to the highest descent point.
