Most resorts do offer rental equipment, but it can be pretty outdated; you would be safer to bring your own gear. Prices for travel and accommodation are still low and a lift-pass will only set you back just over $10. Indian cuisine relies heavily on spices and herbs, and vegetarianism is widespread.
