The Kandersteg ski resort is situated in Berner Oberland province of Austria at 2,000 meters altitude. The resort is perfect for families and beginner to intermediate level skiers but also boasts a challenging run into the valley that requires significant skills and expertise.

Most of the accommodations around the Kandersteg ski resort consist of ice chalets and holiday rentals. Chain hotels are located nearby and provide all of the comforts and amenities from home. Tracks/Slopes
Although smaller in size, the Kandersteg ski resort offers a little bit of something for every level of ability. There are two drag lifts and one cable car that uplift skiers and snowboarders to 2 km of easy, intermediate and advanced runs.
Other Activities
There are two toboggan runs that extend 4 km and provide an alternative activity than downhill skiing or snowboarding. Toboggans may be rented and gear acquired at the rental shop located at the resort. Paragliding and ice skating is also available onsite.
