Karpenisi in the Pindos Mountains, Greece, is a small ski resort. There are 11 runs for varying levels of skill serviced by six ski lifts.
The resort has a ski school and equipment hire and lies in the shadow of Mount Velouchi with several mountain villages clustered around the resort. The town of Karpensi is 12km away and buses are available to the ski resort. Karpensi also has snowboarding facilities and is popular for cross county skiers. This area of Greece has been likened to a little Switzerland due to the majestic mountain scenery.
