Klosters is a chalet style resort that shares the same ski slopes with Davos. Famous for its visits by Britain’s Prince Charles. Klosters is a great resort for families and caters well for children. Klosters is situated 10km from the busier Davos and lies in the heart of the Graubunden region of Switzerland, south east of Zurich.
Klosters is part of the Rega Pass Ski areas, which covers 307 km of downhill runs serviced by 52 ski lifts. The longest run is over 12km and the skiing is suitable for all ages and abilities. There are two Terrain parks for snow boarders one with a half pipe.
When you tire of skiing there are plenty of other outdoor activities, including seven toboggan runs, ice skating, cross country skiing, day and night walks, sleigh rides and organized snow shoe walks
Off the slopes, shopping is good in Klosters but cater more for the exclusive tastes.
There are plenty of restaurants on and off the slopes; however it’s hard to find a cheap eatery.
