Kopaonik is the largest and most popular ski resort in Serbia. Most amenities are within 10-15 minutes of the town centre making it a very compact resort. With a resort altitude of 1770 metres rising to 2070m at the top ski lift there is usually good snow over the 22 runs, 12 of which are for beginners.
A further 5 are intermediate runs with 2 in the advanced category and 4 nursery slopes. A further 20 km of cross country skiing trails are available and a network of 22 ski lifts operates in Kopaonik. Snowboarding is popular in Kopaonik.
The longest ski run in the resort is 3.5 km. Several good hotels and restaurants can be found in town. Kopaonik is located in a National Park famed for its natural beauty.
