La Burbuja ski resort, Chile

La Burbuja is a small resort 60km from Puerto Varas. It is equipped with one ski lift, ski hire facilities, a ski school, a restaurant and an overnight refuge hut. Located at the southernmost tip of Chile’s skiing region, La Burbuja offers skiing in rugged and dramatic alpine scenery.

The ski lift climbs a section of the Osorno Volcano at an altitude of 2652m.La Burbuja has seven runs and the majestic views of Lago Llanquihue are not to be missed.  

Cross country skiing is also very popular in La Burbuja which is also renowned for its climbing facilities. Snowboarders will enjoy a run on the slopes of the Osorna Volcano set in a backdrop of stunning scenery.
