La Hoya is at 1350 metres above sea level and near the city of Esquel.
It is set amongst scenery of forests, lakes and covers 60 hectares of skiable terrain. There are 10ski lifts which work across 24 runs in the resort at varying levels from beginners to advanced and there are good facilities for snowboarding.
Cross country skiing is popular in la Hoya and there is a special trail for snowmobiling. La Hoya has a ski and snowboarding school, restaurants, equipment rental and a children’s centre. Artificial snow production ensure there is always good skiing on the pistes.
