On the Saint-Maurice River, bordered by the
Trois-Rivières and
Chambord is located La Tuque, a city in south Central Quebec. La Tuque takes its name after a rock formation which resembles a French-Canadian hat by that name. Visitors may come to this ski hill via La Tuque Airport or by roadways and highways if visiting from USA or other parts of Canada.
The jewel of a ski hill has a vertical drop of 166 meters (545 ft). Snowmaking is 95%. The number of trails is 11 which are rated as Beginner – 18%, Intermediate – 45%, Advanced – 18% and Expert – 19%.
There is a terrain park and two lifts including double chair and 1 surface lift. Well groomed slopes here are perfect for downhill skiing and snowboarding activities
Activities here include Alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemarking and tubing.
