Laqlouq Ski Mountain has an altitude between 1750 metres and 2000 metres above sea level. This resort is situated close to The Cedars and is about 62 km from Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport. Accommodations are available in Beirut and other towns closer to Laqlouq such as the Shangri-La or Nirvana Hotel.
Skiing equipment may be rented here at the slopes from Laqlouq’s rental or from Mont Blanc rental in Ihmij Village nearby. The Laqlouq ski area is open from 8 AM until 3:30 PM on weekdays and from 8 AM to 4 PM on weekends and holidays.
There are nine lifts which range from an altitude of 13 metres to 255 metres. The longest lift is 1017 meters. The highest lift is at an altitude of 1914 meters. The trails are rated Beginners – 67%, Intermediate – 22% and Advanced – 11%.
There is a ski school in this facility. Après ski activities include visiting the legendary cave of Afqa, the abyss at Balou’, the 2300 metres high Kornet Saidat Al-Qarn Peak and the Village of Annaya.
