The ski area covers 350 hectares with the park having 6600 hectares of terrain in total and has a higher altitude of 1950 metres above sea level. Four ski lifts serve Las Arucarias.
Cross country skiing is popular here and there are a good mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced downhill runs. The Llaima Volcano is one of Chile’s classic ski descents.
