The perfect ski experience can be found in the Lech-Zurs ski resort. This gorgeous area in Austria provides you with a scene straight from a postcard, with the charming villages of Lech and Zurs sitting nestled against the massive slopes of snow-capped mountains. These two villages offer subtle but distinct difference, offering skiers a full range of both a natural ski experience with rustic charm and a more refined, full-service ski experience. 


Your experience in Lech-Zurs would not be complete without the perfect lodging. The villages have a combined 87 hotels, with the majority offering three and four star accommodations. There are also a large number of guest houses, holiday homes, and private rooms available for rental.
Most of the lodging accommodations are located in the more frequented and developed village of Lech. With such a wide range of accommodations in Lech-Zurs, you are sure to find the perfect setting for your ski holiday.


The Lech-Zurs area provides skiers with 276 kilometers of snow runs, including 180 kilometers of all-natural powder snow runs. Runs are designed for all skill levels, making Lech-Zurs a perfect ski resort for any skier. With 85 lifts operating on the slopes, over 123,000 skiers per hour are taken to the top of the slopes. Skiing in the Zurs area offers skiers a high altitude ski experience and top skiing schools. Lech provides skiers with a more natural ski experience, free of cars and well-preserved slopes.

Other Activities

Four ski schools are located in the area, with skilled instructors who can help you improve your skill and technique on the slopes. Snowboarding is permitted on the slopes, as well as two snow parks. The Mellow Park is suited for more serious snowboarders, and hosted the 2005 final of the Snowparktour. Families visiting the area will find childcare services, as well as a number of activities. The Miniclub Lech is a winter wonderland for the little ones, with snowman building, snowball fights, tobogganing, and other activities designed for kids.

In summer months, jogging, hiking, Nordic walking, fishing, golf, tennis, swimming, rafting, biking, and mountain biking are all popular activities.
