Les Gets ski resort, France

More of a French village than a ski resort; Les Gets is a popular destination for families. Supermarkets and pedestrian friendly streets, give a feel of small town, rather than pricey ski resort. Les Gets is part of the very popular Portes du Soleil ski pass area that offers a huge variety of skiing for all levels.

The slopes here are shard with its larger neighbouring village of Morzine, another popular family destination. Both villages are popular with the UK set, so English is well understood and spoken by the local business and ski operators.

Suited predominately to intermediate, snowboarders and families so the runs are long, cruisy with plenty for beginners to learn and improve on.
