A ski resort with a Nordic flavor to it, it overlooks Beaufortain and Val d’Arly. It was used for the biathlon and cross country skiing competitions during the 1992 Winter Olympics.
The area has 80 km of cross country skiing trails, and 41 km of pistes all along the downhill areas.
All total, it has 196 pistes, and you can ski or snowboard right up to the resort, as it is above 1,500 meters in altitude. To travel to the area, you can take a car or taxi, and six airports are in the vicinity; the Chambery Airport being the closest.
