Leukerbad is a large resort nestled in a valley surrounded by the Balmhorn and Torrenthorn peaks. Leukerbad is also famous for its spa waters that have been used since Roman times. The altitude ranges from 1410m to 2850m above sea level.

Tracks/Slopes
Leukerbad has direct access to over 50km of downhill skiing. There are 18 individual pistes and 16 ski lifts. The center of the ski area is the Rinderhutte which is above the treeline at 2340m above sea level. There are 7 black runs, 8 red runs, and 5 blue runs.

Leukerbad has an active nightlife with several hotel bars that offer dancing, pool, darts, and karaoke. There is also a thermal outdoor pool where tired skiers can relax after a day on the slopes.
