The ski runs are serviced by a total of eight ski lifts, giving you a convenient method to reach the top of the slopes. Mittenwald is a historic town, filled with a number of interesting and historic sights. You can take a ride on the Dammkar run, which climbs an astounding 1,311 vertical meters on the cliff of a mountain and offers spectacular views. The area also as a snow park, with such features as a funbox, a wave ride, two half pipes, and a quarter pipe. Winter is also a fun time for sleigh rides, tobogganing, and winter walking. In the summer, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, summer curling, mountaineering, tennis, swimming, and Nordic walking are all favorite past-times.
