The Chateau Mont-Tremblant ski resort is in Quebec in Canada. Mont-Tremblant in Quebec is said to be the next best thing to the French Alps, so if you don't fancy the idea of travelling all the way to Europe then this is the place for you. The resort has an average snowfall of three hundred and eighty one centimeters and a fairly small skiing area of 246 hectares and a vertical drop of 644 meters.

The resort has a total of 92 runs of which seventeen percent and thirty three percent respectively are for beginners and intermediates. The remaining fifty percent of runs is equally divided between expert and advanced skiers, the resort has a total of thirteen ski lifts.

The resort is located at the base of the Laurentian mountain range and the lodge overlooks a picturesque fauz French Alpine village with cobblestone streets. The Lodge is part of the Fairmont chain of resorts and it relies on an historical association that the area had with French fur trappers. The lodge walls are decorated with animal pelts and snowshoes and it offers guests the chance to literally leave by the back door and get whisked to the top of the ski run in a matter of minutes.
