Montafon ski resort is the largest ski resort in the Montafon Valley covering over 107 kilometers of skiing territory fit for skiers at all levels. Montafon offers winter activities ranging from extreme to leisurely that are sure to fit every lifestyle and activity level. Montafon is also home to the biggest snowboard park in Austria and one of the biggest in Europe.
Accommodations
Montafon sees thousands of visitors per year so the accommodations available are vast. One of the most popular lodging options is the Family Hotel Mateera. The hotel is 1,400 meters above sea level making it the highest hotel in the area. Guests are often seen skiing right up to their door front.
Tracks/Slopes
There are 10 drag lifts, 11 chairlifts, and 4 cable cars that bring skiers and snowboarders to the top of the various runs. Montafon provides a balanced mixture of runs ranging from beginner to advance. The NovaPark snowboard park has been the recipient of several awards for its design and lines.
