Located at an altitude of 2,814 metres above sea level, Mount Hermon Resort is a popular attraction for skiers of all levels around the area. This ski mountain covers about 45 miles or wilderness which provides hours or joy to skiers and snowboarders who visit this site. Visitors arrive via the Tel Aviv International airport. From the airport shuttle buses and taxis are available to reach the resort.
The operating hours at this resort are from 8 AM to 4 PM. Extreme mountain sledding is practiced here. The route is 950 metres long and the sled could easily reach a speed of 45 kph or more. A maximum of two people can be on a sled at one time. Children are encouraged to use plastic snow sledges which are slower and safer.
Activities here include sledding and Nordic skiing. The ski school in this resort teaches beginners through experienced skiers on the various aspects of skiing.
A part of this mountain has been classified as a military zone. It is best to make advance arrangements before visiting this ski resort.
