Just an hour’s drive north from New York City, you will find this youthful resort, with its interconnected skiing divided up between the three mountains of Vernon Peak, Granite Peak and South Peak. Nine lifts service 41 trails and Mountain Creek is also home to a terrain park that was voted one of America’s top five by the renowned Freeskier Magazine. Snow guns and floodlights cover 100% of the resort.

Mountain Creek is undoubtedly a weekend or day visit resort for most New Yorkers, but there is also a large lodge there for longer stays and plenty of other activities other than skiing available.
In June 2011 they are going to open a year-round zip line and there is also snow tubing, a water park and a nearby golf course.
