Located in the Central Carpathian Mountains Oriavchyk is just 8 km from the town of Tysovets and is a developing resort. It is accessible from Skole which is on the Kiev-Uzhhorod train route.
At a base elevation of 850m and a higher altitude of 1050 metres above sea level this area enjoys good snow and stunning views of the Carpathians. There are two drag lifts and some smaller lifts to the slopes.
Oriavchyk is mainly suited to intermediate skiing with a lower beginners slope. Cross country skiing is popular in this resort.
