Less crowded than many of the Slovenian resorts, the smaller resort of Peca offers great skiing for the beginner and intermediate adventurist. The countryside is pretty and offers a winter scene that helps visitors escape their busy lives and enjoy a taste of the outdoors.
Accommodations
A number of hotels and self-catering apartment rentals are available in and around the Peca ski resort. Cozy ski huts are located near the slopes and provide convenience to the lifts and trails.
Tracks/Slopes
Along the north side of the mountain are the resort slopes. A few ground lifts are available for skiers to travel the small vertical rise of 1,627 feet.
Other Activities
Aside from downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and tobogganing are also popular at Peca. Open the door of your ski hut and find a horse-drawn carriage ready to take you for a ride in the wintry countryside.
