Located just 38km from Ekaterinberg where the Russian Royal family was killed in 1918, the ski resort of Pilnaya is at the foot of the Pilny Mountains and 400metres above sea level with a vertical drop of 100 metres. Over 2800 metres of terrain there are five ski runs and two lifts in the resort.
A snow park is available in Pilnaya for snowboarding activities and there are several cross country skiing trails. Some slopes are floodlit for night skiing and there are equipment hire facilities. An artificial snow machine ensures good ground cover.
