Popova Sapka is on of the most well known winter resorts in Macedonia and is located on the slopes of Săr Planina. With 15 mixed ability ski runs and six ski lifts with an additional three chair lifts this is a busy resort set in beautiful surroundings.
A previous host to both the European and Balkan Ski Championships, Popova Sapka has excellent facilities and the Sarplaninski Cup Competition is held here annually. Visitors can get there by car or by a rope railway taking 36 minutes from Tetovo. A ski school operates from Popova Sapka and snowboarding facilities are available in this resort. |
