Port del Comte

This is an important Spanish ski area, really close to the Cadi Moixero National Park. In order to be accurate, we must say that it is near the Pyrenean foothills. However, this ski resort was relatively unknown to foreign tourists till the early 1970s. Today, it is known for its lovely descents through some wooden hillsides.

It has 25 kilometers of runs, having a good sized ski area with ski trails up to a mile and a half long for all ability levels. Port del Comte is easy accessible, being connected to all the main roads and towns. It is fairly near to Barcelona’s Airport, at about an hour away of driving. There are plenty of other facilities in the area, such as a two seater chairlift, which connects different parts of the tourist resort.
