Predeal is the only
Romanian ski resort over 1000 metres altitude and is ideal for the intermediate skier. With nineteen runs of mixed ski and snowboarding ability served by six ski lifts the resort is popular. The lifts have a capacity to handle 1175 people per hour. The Clabucet and Ceoplea slopes are particularly well known in Predeal which means, “on the hill”.
The resort has 2500m of cross country skiing and there is equipment for hire in town. A ski school is available and it is also possible to try snowmobiling and archery in Predeal. Artificial snow machines and floodlit pistes are also available.
