It is a well known ski resort situated near Berga, Catalonia (Spain), currently out of service. The Catalan government has begun the modernization and implementation of the complex. Rasos de Peguera was the first designed place for skiing in Catalonia. In 2008 was celebrated a centenary of the famous trip to the Sanctuary of Orbera. This was an initiative of the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya in collaboration with the Catalan Federation of Winter Sports. Due to the lack of investments, there are not so many restaurants and bars in the center of the ski resort. However, the future promises a lot, and it seems that Rasos de Peguera will become a flourishing tourist resort.
