Rogla ski resort, located in the north of Slovenia near the city of Maribor is one of the larger ski destinations in Slovenia with 247 acres of ski terrain and 467m of vertical descent all at the summit of 1517m altitude. There are around 13 pistes and a half pipe for snowboarders, with the slopes comprising of 40% green runs, 40% blue runs and 20% red and black runs, which makes Rogla hugely popular between skiers of all ability levels.
The slopes are accessed easily by four chair lifts and nine surface lifts. Rogla also features 30km of cross-country skiing terrain and welcomes snowboarders to the area. The area has a regular amount of snowfall annually, however Rogla is also prepared with snowmaking capabilities across 100% of the pistes.
The resort features comfortable and reasonably priced slope-side accommodation, as well as two bars and a restaurant for relaxation time.
