Romania has so many ski resorts to choose from that it is simply impossible not to find something you like. Just like many other countries in Central and Southeastern Europe, it offers skiing and snowboarding at excellent prices. Romania is one of the best value skiing destinations in Europe. But be careful: not all resorts offer skiing and snowboarding for all levels, so be sure to check the types of slopes before booking your holiday. The ski season runs from December to March.

Romania is a very picturesque country and its visitors will certainly enjoy its scenery, the local bars with live gypsy music and the delicious local food. The Count Dracula legend is set in Romania and if your schedule allows you, visiting the famous Bran Castle (or one of the many other castles in Romania) will make for a nice break from away from the piste.
