Sandia Peak Ski Area is a family friendly area situated in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There are 200 skiable acres and a vertical drop of 1,700 feet. The average annual snowfall is 125 inches and the resort can make snow for 15 percent of the mountain. Six lifts service the 30 trails at Sandia Peak Ski Area. Beginners can enjoy 35 percent of the runs and intermediate level skiers and riders can use 55 percent of the trails. Advanced snow enthusiasts will be challenged on 10 percent of the terrain.
The terrain park has elements for every level of freestyle riding. Cross country skiers have 47km of trails to explore.
