The snowy paradise of Sankt Johan im Tyrol is located in the Tyrolean village with just 2,500 residents.  The mountain village and ski resort offers panoramic scenery of the mountains and jetting peaks accompanied by loads of powdery and glistening snow.  

Accommodations

Hotel accommodations are plentiful in and around the large resort.  There are a number of four star quality hotels and several three star budget friendly hotels and guest houses.  Self-serve apartments and holiday rentals are available and provide sleeping arrangements ideal for families or groups of friends.  Camping arrangements can be made and provide upscale cabins and units with all of the amenities of home. 

Tracks/Slopes

There are 86 mountain railways that transport skiers and snowboarders to the perfect destination.  This large and expansive resort consists of 110 km of easy runs, 138 km slopes of medium difficulty and 30 km of difficult runs for the most advanced skier.  The deep powder runs are a perfect combination with the challenge of Mother Nature producing what she does best in this wintery region. 

Other Activities

Paragliding, ice skating, curling and cross country skiing are all popular at the resort.  There are two toboggan runs that extend 4.3 km.  Equipment and toboggans can be rented at the resort’s rental facility.  For those wanting to hike along the winter trails, the resort offers 40 km to stretch your legs and breath in the crisp mountain and alpine air.
