Schruns ski resort, Austria

Sitting at an altitude of 700m, Schruns ski resort is a haven amongst snow sport enthusiasts. Best known for skiing holidays, Schruns has direct access to 40km of downhill skiing with 14 individual pistes and 11 ski lifts capable of accommodating over 14,000 skiers per hour.

Most of the skiing is above 1850m and the resort enjoys a reliable snowfall which is backed-up by a number of snow cannons. There is one black run, five red, 10 blue and 1 green run, making the resort suitable for a number of ability levels. Schruns is also accommodating towards snowboarders, which includes a Snow Park. There are a number of hotels and guesthouses in the area, ranging in styles and comfort and to suit a number of different budgets. The area also plays host to a vast number of chalets, which are the perfect way to enjoy a snow sport vacation in Austria’s ideal skiing location.
