Sheregesh was once a remote mining town in Siberia and is now an emerging ski and snowboarding resort. The snow is usually 1 metre high from November to March guaranteeing good snow.
It takes 7 hours to get to Sheregesh from Moscow and since the resort was first developed in the 1980’s it has continued to grow and the down has developed around it. There are six ski runs and five pistes stretching over 6km of ground. The runs are geared to wards beginners and intermediate skiers and there is heli skiing for off piste activity here. Snowmobiles are also available.
The resort is remote from other areas in the vast Siberian wilderness limiting the après ski activities.
