It is one of the most popular tourist destination, due to its high mountain peaks that make skiing possible. Parts of this mountain range have been included in the Sierra Nevada National Park. In addition, this place has been declared biosphere reserve. Basically, it is not a tourist resort, but more a tourist destination, an attraction for all the passionate skiers. Most of the slopes are located at great heights (2800 meters altitude). There are few accommodation and facilities in this area. This is the only disadvantage of this area. The scenery is simply breathtaking.
