Accommodations
The five star Hotel Waldhaus is located in Sils and offers an inviting mountain village experience to its guests. Views of mountains, lakes, and lots of snow make the warm interior quite pleasurable. The hotel has been owned by the same family since 1908 and operates with the same hospitality and excellence it did over 100 years ago. For something a little more budget conscious, ice chalet rentals and self-catered apartments are available.
Tracks/Slopes
Sils ski resort provides access to 70 km of downhill pleasure. There are 9 lifts that service the area and 20 individual runs. The 9 area lifts are able to accommodate up to 7,000 skiers and snowboarders per hour.
Other Activities
Trails for winter hiking are available and kept smooth but in parts can become rugged. It is recommended that trail hiking not be done alone but in small to large groups.
