Simonhohe ski resort, Austria

Simonhohe provides a winter paradise to its visitors as they explore the modern campus full of avalanche free terrain and well taken care of slopes.  The resort prides itself in providing its guests with peace and safety.  Modern snow machines can be seen grooming the slopes and creating a family friendly ski and boarding environment.

Accommodations

Accommodations at Simonhohe have a rustic and woodsy feel. The area is scattered with camping chalets, apartments and holiday housing. Rooms are cozy and provide all of the comforts of home minus the size and door step access to the ski slopes.

Tracks/Slopes

Lift facilities include eight drag lifts and one chair lift with slopes ranging from easy to difficult.  There are 9 km of easy runs, 5 km of slopes with medium difficulty and 1 km of difficult terrain for the advanced skier. 

Other Activities

Providing family fun, the resort offers an expansive amusement park and alpine racing track for a wide variety of winter sports.  A ski and snowboard school offers lessons for beginners or those who wish to hone their skills.  A large skating rink and curling arena is also available.
