Smithers Ski Area on Hudson Bay Mountain is located in the “princely” Bulkley Valley of the beautiful British Columbia, on the Trans Canada Yellowhead Highway Route 16, somewhere between the cities of Prince Rupert and Prince George.
This resort is open from late November thorough April 9. Operating days are from Wednesday through Sunday.
There are 36 runs here served by 4 lifts including a Panorama T-bar, Prairie T-bar and Skyline Chair. The terrain is arranged according to the skier’s level of expertise into Novice – 20%, Intermediate – 55% and Advanced – 20%.
The continuous Mountain vertical here is 3,775 ft (1,151 meters). Annual snowfall is about 225cm. Top elevation is 5,413 ft (1,650 meters).
