Slavsko Ski resort ( sometimes known as Slavske) is located 120km from Lviv which is on the Kieve to Usghorod rail line. This was a popular Soviet ski area.
There are four mountains in this resort with a variety of runs for all levels. Mount Trostian is the most well known of the ski areas with a 3km chair lift and runs geared towards advanced skiers only. The Politekh Mountain is more suited to beginners with three tow lifts and gentle slopes.
Velykyy Verkh Mountain has long runs and a vertical drop of 550 metres whilst Mount Pohar is suited to intermediate and advanced level skiing. Ski hire is available in Slavsko.
