Snow Trails Ski Resort was the first ski area in Ohio. There are 60 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 300 feet. The resort is capable of producing snow for the entire area and the average annual snowfall is 52 inches.
The 8 lights service 15 trails. All trails are lighted for night skiing. Beginners will enjoy 20 percent of the runs while intermediates can use 60 percent. Advanced enthusiasts have access to the remaining 20 percent of the trails.
Lodging is available nearby in the form of bed and breakfasts and motels. Dining is plentiful in town. The après ski crowd will enjoy the many bars and clubs in Mansfield.
