The Solitude ski area is located at Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT. The have 65 trails and 8 lifts servicing the whole area. They offer rentals on site for a reasonable price.

Solitude Ski Resort is a full service resort. There are 1,200 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 2,047 feet. The annual average snowfall for the area is over 500 feet and snow can be made for 150 acres.
The 8 lifts service the 65 runs and 3 bowls. Beginners can use 20 percent of the runs and intermediates have access to 50 percent. The remaining 30 percent is dedicated for advanced and expert enthusiasts. There are 20km of cross country trails and 10km of marked snowshoeing trails.
Lodging is available in town as is a variety of restaurants. There are loads of pubs, nightclubs and pool halls for après ski enjoyment.
