Song Mountain Resort is a family friendly ski area located in the mountains of New York. There are 100 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 700 feet. The average annual snowfall is 125 inches and the resort can make snow for 75 percent of the terrain. There are 5 lifts that can move 5,800 people per hour.
The 24 trails are of varied difficulty. Beginners can use 58 percent of the runs while intermediates will enjoy 29 percent. The remaining 13 percent of the terrain is strictly for advanced enthusiasts. The terrain park will challenge all levels of freestyle skiers and riders. Night skiing is available.
Lodging options are off mountain and vary from bed and breakfasts to chain motels. Dining is available and ranges from fast food joints to full service facilities. There are numerous pubs, sports bars and nightclubs within a short drive of the resort.
