Sorochany is the most modernised ski and snowboarding resort in the Moscow region, being just 54km from the city. Ten trails of mixed ability can be found in the resort, the longest being 900 metres.
There are five lifts, two chair and three drag lift style with a capacity to transport 6000 people each hour. Snowboarding is available and there are snow machines to maintain the pistes.
Night skiing is available and there is a ski and snowboard school with equipment rental facilities. Cross country skiers will find trails in and around the resort.
