St. Moritz represents an exquisite tourist resort in the Engadine Valley, located in the beautiful country of Switzerland. This ski resort is very popular, mostly because it is near the highest mountainous summit in the Eastern Alps, the Piz Bernina, which is laying at just a few kilometers south from the actual village. St. Moritz is considered as being one of the oldest and most world-known winter resorts in the entire world, mostly because of the fact that the location inhabitants are enjoying more than 300 days of sunshine per year. Each and every winter, this alpine tourist resort is hosting the "White Turf" horse race on the frozen local lake (the St. Moritz Lake), being attended by the international upper class.
