This beautiful ski resort is located in the Duplessis region where heavy snow accumulates every year covering the entire region with a thick white carpet. Gallix is located in the beautiful landscape of the Gulf of St-Lawrence.
The vertical in Station de Ski Gallix is 600 ft (185 meters). There are 22 trails rated Beginner – 27%, Intermediate - 27%, Advanced – 23%, Expert – 23%. Night time skiing is offered along with snowboard facilities.
To transport skiers up hill Station de Ski Gallix has 3 lifts including 2 Quad chairs and 1 surface lift. There is also a snow park and a glade park with 3 trails. Although there is a vast amount of snowfall and accumulation, snowmaking in this park is 60%.
Other activities include Cross-Country skiing (5 km) Downhill skiing, Ice skating, Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing (25 km), Telemark and Winter Sliding.
