Stoos ski resort is located in central Switzerland and offers a beautiful snow packed forest surrounded by mountain huts. Intermediate level skiing is a must at Stoos with over 20 km of meticulously groomed slopes of powder and augmented snow. The alpine mountain scenery keeps guests returning year after year.
Accommodations
Most of the lodging accommodations consist of mountain huts surrounding the pristine resort. Smaller holiday rental homes are available for extended stay visits. Nearby three star hotels also offer some of the finer amenities and fare.
Tracks/Slopes
Eight lifts, including two aerial tramways assist and transport skiers to the run of their choosing. There are 7 km of easy runs, 21 km of medium difficulty and 7 km of difficult runs for the advanced skier.
Other Activities
Cross country ski trails are a popular sport at the resort among the immaculately groomed ski trails. Other activities include paragliding, sleigh trips, and a 2 km toboggan run that is flood lit for evening and nighttime adventures.
