Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is a family friendly ski area nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. There are 115 skiable acres with 1,200 feet of vertical drop. The resort receives an average annual snowfall of 78 inches and 100 percent snowmaking capabilities.
There are 8 lifts servicing 20 trails of varying terrain. Beginners will be thrilled on 40 percent of the runs and intermediates will enjoy their 40 percent. Advanced enthusiasts have 20 percent of the terrain to ski or ride on. Snow tubing, ice skating and night skiing are also offered at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
Lodging is available both at the resort and in town. Dining options can be found both on and off the mountain. There are lounges at Sugar Mountain and many more bars and nightclubs closer into town.
