Sundown Mountain Ski Resort is a small and family friendly ski area. There are 55 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 475 feet. The annual snowfall in the area is 45 inches and the resort has the ability to make snow for all of the terrain. The 6 lifts can move 9,000 people per hour.
There are 21 runs and the longest is 4,000 feet. Beginners have 40 percent of the trails to play on and intermediates have another 40 percent. Advanced skiers and riders have 15 percent of the slopes dedicated to them. The final 5 percent of the terrain is strictly expert only areas. The terrain park will keep freestyle enthusiasts challenges. There is a 1km cross country trail to explore as well. Night skiing is available at Sundown Mountain Ski Resort.
Lodging is available nearby. Dining is available both on and off the mountain. Après ski is limited on the mountain but more options are available in town.
